FAQ

Q. Is this fogger effective against the Corona Virus Covid-19?
The technology achieves a Log 6 Reduction of the hardest to kill bacterial spores. This product is listed on the K and N list of the EPA. So it is deemed effective against SARS-CoV-2

Q. Where can this system be used?
The fogger was specifically designed for portability and for use in a multitude of settings. Although comparatively small in size, its extraordinary power allows users the ability to easily treat sealed spaces. Spaces may include ambulances, cars, office spaces, nursing homes, holding rooms, equipment filled rooms, patient rooms, Operating Rooms, and incubators, Gnotobiotics chambers, laboratories, BSL3 facilities, and much more!

Q. Why is Pulse Technology important?
Pulse Technology allows the fog/mist to achieve maximum efficacy by maintaining an optimal filled space creating a consistent dwell-time.

Q. How much solution will it take to treat a room?
Because each space differs in size, contents, and targeted pathogen, there is no simple answer to this question.  That said however, the Pulse Technology and consistent droplet size DOES require up to 30% LESS chemical than other options on the market.

Q. Is it safe around computers, electronics, and fabrics?
Yes!  This is a dry fog that breaks down to water and oxygen. The system and solutions have been tested extensively (and are subjected to continual testing) for material compatibility.

Q. Can I enter the room before the dry-fog dissipates?
A room in the process of dry-fogging or while in dissipation phase, it can only be entered if using a respirator. Depending on the space being decontaminated and the ability to vent, there are a variety of exhaust scenarios. Without the ability to exhaust, allow for 3 hours of dissipation.

Q. How long will it take to treat a space?
There really is no typical time for a treatment as each facility and space has specific needs, requirements, and challenges.  For instance, treating a small room will take less time than treating a larger shared space. Contact your local rep to visit your site and assess the space to estimate fog time.

Q. What solution is used in Hydrogen Peroxide System?
Our fogging device is filled with a 7% Hydrogen Peroxide.

Q. Can’t we just use quaternary ammoniums and bleaches?  We are aware of the massive selection of products on the market, but there are many pitfalls in depending upon them to successfully and thoroughly eradicate serious infections in often-complicated settings.  Relying on them exclusively simply cannot safeguard your spaces effectively.
Notably, chemicals:
                             – are most often not applied correctly
                             – often require a secondary step of rinsing
                             – may corrode surfaces
                             – can be toxic to the applicator
                             – often leave behind toxic residue and odors
                             – can be deadly if mixed
                             – may contribute to resistant strains of emerging pathogens
